Asante Kotoko duo earn Black Meteors call-up ahead of U23 AFCON
Ghana U-23 coach Ibrahim Tanko has called up Asante Kotoko goalkeepers, Kwame Baah and Danlad Ibrahim to the Black Meteors squad ahead of the U23 AFCON.
Kwame Baah helped the Black Meteors qualify for the U23 AFCON few weeks ago when they beat Algeria 2-1 on aggregate to qualify for the competition.
The Ghana Football Association sent a letter to Asante Kotoko on Thursday requesting the release of the two players as Ibrahim Tanko begin preparations ahead of the tournament.
The Black Meteors will start camping in Accra today ahead of the Tournament which comes off in Egypt from November 8, 2019, to November 22.
