The official mobile App of Asante Kotoko SC, the Kotoko Express App has generated Seven Thousand, Four Hundred and Fifty-Two Ghana Cedis, Three pesewas (GHC7,452.03) for the club in its first month of operation.
The App which started its official operation on the 6th of January, 2019, generated that amount as Asante Kotoko`s share of the revenue from user subscriptions from the 6th of January to the 2nd of February, 2019, which is Seventy Percent (70%) of revenue generated from user subscriptions, with the rest being used to cater for the technical maintenance of the app.
Asante Kotoko receive $150,000 cheque
The Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, George Amoako, receiving the cheque on behalf of the club, praised supporters for their continuous support for the Kotoko Express App, and further charged all supporters worldwide to keep using the Kotoko Express App to help generate more revenue for the club.
“I am going to ensure supporters using the Kotoko Express App get exclusive news and information of the club on daily basis. This is the club`s official mouthpiece, and I will ensure that supporters get the latest developments pertaining to the club on the App every day.
“We are hopeful that with the commitment of supporters to the App, we will be able to generate more revenue to take care of our dear club and raise our club to the highest of standards we all desire,” Mr. George Amoako added.
