As the final round of Ghana Premier League matches approaches, the former Ghanaian midfielder emphasized that the standard of Hearts of Oak has declined and urged the players to exert themselves fully in order to revive the club’s former glory.
“We are all aware of the challenges the club is facing, but I want to encourage the players that it is a part of football, and they should continue to give their best even during these difficult times,” he expressed to Pipapipa Media.
“When you give your all for the club, opportunities will arise because it is a prestigious club. The current players must work diligently to restore the club’s glorious days, as the standard of Hearts has declined,” he further remarked.
Hearts of Oak is scheduled to face Berekum Chelsea, who currently hold the 10th position, at the Golden City Park on Sunday.
