
FC Cartagena striker Dauda Mohammed has been handed an invitation from the Ghana Football Association to feature for Black Stars in the Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
Next month’s fixture against Madagascar and the Central Africa Republic will have the Spanish base attacker as well as the international friendlies against Japan and Chile.
The former U20 striker has been one player on the list of the Black Stars technical handlers and has earned himself a call-up after impressing in the Spanish Segunda Division.
The Spanish Segunda outfit broke the news on their Twitter handle saying,
“INTERNATIONAL | Mo Dauda has been called up by the Ghana senior team for the matches against Madagascar, the Central African Republic, Japan and Chile (the first two officials),”
The Anderlecht loanee has been one of Ghana’s top strikers in Europe and his invite is a huge boost for the Black Stars, who are looking at strengthening their attack before the World Cup later this year.
