Bibiani GoldStars forward, Alex Aso made his long-awaited return from injury against Young Apostles at the Duns Park.
The prolific forward was a figurehead for the Miners until his injury but he made sure to repayed the coaches confidence with a goal.

Aso scored what proved to be the match-winner on the stroke of half-time which ended up separating the two sides at the end of game proceedings.
Speaking to Saharafootball.net after the game, the forward couldn’t hide his excitement as he returned to the pitch.
It feels great to be back because been sidelined due to injury for a very long period of time (those periods weren’t easy but just in football as in life, setbacks are inevitable) what matters most is not setbacks themselves but how will respond to it. He ended.

Aso will hope to help his side who are in a tussle with Kotoko for the league title.
GoldStars will travel north to the Nana Fosu Gyeabour II park as they play Bechem United in week twenty-eight of the league.
