Albert Commey believes George Afriyie poses no threat to Kurt Okraku in the upcoming GFA elections.
Albert Ayittey Commey has shared his perspective on George Afriyie’s candidacy for the upcoming Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential election.
During an interview with Oyerepa FM, Commey challenged Afriyie to showcase his achievements during his time as Vice President of the football association.
Having worked with Afriyie in the past, Commey found amusement in Afriyie’s plans and expressed that Afriyie should explain what he accomplished during his four-year tenure as GFA vice president.

“I watched that video and couldn’t help but laugh because I have firsthand experience working with him. He should let us know what he achieved during his time as GFA vice president,” Commey stated.
Confidently, Commey further remarked, “I want him to get an opportunity one day and demonstrate what he is capable of. He poses no threat to Kurt Okraku,” referring to the current GFA President.
Besides George Afriyie, Kojo Yankah has also announced his candidacy to challenge Kurt Okraku for the Ghana FA Presidency.
While Kurt Okraku remains optimistic about his re-election, his competitors argue that he has underperformed and should not be granted a second term.
The upcoming GFA presidential election is expected to be fiercely contested, with George Afriyie and Kojo Yankah vying to unseat Kurt Okraku.
