President Akufo-Addo has donated GHS50k to support U20 World Cup winning coach, Sellas Tetteh
Sellas Tetteh the man who led the Ghana U20 team to victory in the FIFA U20 World Cup in 2009 has been battling with severe illness in the pas months.
Tetteh has requested the GFA and the Sports Ministry to pay his bonuses of the 2009 U20 world cup victory to help him cater for his health.
A delegation from the Ministry paid a visit to Sellas Tetteh the former national U20 coach.

The delegation led by the the deputy minister for sports presented a cash donation of GHS50,000 on behalf of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to help cover his medical expenses.
Hon Evans Opoku Bobie, explained that, the the importance of the visit to ascertain the coach’s health condition.
Michael Lassey Teivi, a brother to the coach, expressed his gratitude to the president for the kind gesture and assured the amount donated would be put to good use.
The delegation promised to follow up with regular visits to the coach and expressed optimism for his swift recovery.
