AFCON 2025Q : Ghanaian fans optimistic ahead of Angola clash

Ghanaian fans eagerly await the mouthwatering fixture between Ghana hosting Angola for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

 



Otto Addo named his 23-man squad for the mammoth clash which has seen the arrival of twenty-two (22) players, who have trained at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

THOUGHTS OF FANS :

Goalkeepers: Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Frederick Asare.

Defenders: Alidu Seidu, Tariq Lamptey, Mohammed Salisu, Abdul Mumin, Jerome Opoku, Ebenezer Annan, Kingsley Schindler,

Midfielders: Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus, Francis Abu, Majeed Ashimeru

Forward: Fatawu Issahaku, Joseph Painstil, Ibrahim Osman, Antoine Semenyo, Inaki Williams, Brandon Thomas Asante.

Forson Amankwah and Jonas Adjei Adjetey were called as replacements for Elisha Owusu and Alex Djiku.

Leicester City newbie, Jordan Ayew is expected to check in in the country and team up with the rest of the squad on Wednesday, September, 4,2024.

The BlackStars will play Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and Niger four days later in Berkane, Morocco for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
