The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved the Accra Sports Stadium for Ghana’s game against Sudan.
CAF suspended the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as it did not meet its standards.
This however raised lots of fears that BlackStars might be forced to play out of Ghana with Togo, Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire, and Morocco suggested as possible destinations.

CAF officials arrived in the country to inspect the Cape Coast Stadium and the Accra Sports Stadium last week and settle on the latter.

The game is fixed for Friday, October 11, 2024, now that CAF has cleared the Accra Sports Stadium for use.
