Twenty-four teams have qualified for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) competition scheduled for Ivory Coast next year.
On Tuesday, Cameroun qualified after thumping Burundi at home by three goals to nil which saw them edge their opposition in a fiercest game at the Roumdé Adjia Stadium.

Elsewhere, Black Stars recovered from a goal down to post a 2-1 victory over Central African Republic to seal the top spot ahead of Angola, who came in second in Group E.

Ghana will battle the likes of Nigeria, Morocco, Algeria, Senegal, Mali, and Ivory Coast in their bid to break its four-decade absence for AFCON silverware.

The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations will occur in Ivory Coast from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
