League leaders, Aduana Stars defeated Asante Kotoko 1-0 to qualify for MTN FA CUP quarterfinal
Aduana hosted Asante Kotoko at the Agyemang Badu Park, in the round of 16 of the ongoing MTN FA CUP.
The match was a fiercely contested one with both teams fielding their best teams.
The first half of the game saw Aduana dominating the game with Asante Kotoko sitting back and catching Aduana on the break.

Aduana Stars were rewarded a controversial penalty in the 56th minute which was wonderfully converted by Sam Adams to give the home side the lead.
Asante Kotoko pushed for an equaliser but the defence of Aduana were resilient, denying Kotoko the chance to score.
League leaders Aduana Stars are hoping to win a double this season as Paa Kwesi Fabian and his boys are ready to battle all teams.
Kotoko crash of out the competition yet again and would focus on the GPL as they chase to catch up league leaders who have opened a 7 points gap between the two sides.
