Aduana FC appoint Yaw Acheampong as new head coach for the upcoming season

Aduana FC appoint Yaw Acheampong as new head coach for the upcoming season.

The club announced: “We are excited to introduce Yaw Acheampong as the new Head Coach of Aduana FC. With his extensive expertise and abilities, we are brimming with optimism for a successful journey ahead,” stated the official announcement from the club. However, the specific terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

This choice comes after careful consideration and firmly places Acheampong in charge to lead the team toward future successes.

The team, which has won the Ghanaian championship twice, reportedly considered the possibility of hiring former Hearts of Oak and Medeama coach Samuel Boadu. Nevertheless, Aduana FC has now unveiled Acheampong as the selected individual to follow in the footsteps of Paa Kwesi Fabin.

Fabin’s time with the team ended after they narrowly missed securing the Ghana Premier League title in the previous season.

Despite their impressive performance that had them leading the league table for most of the season, Aduana FC faced a heartbreaking outcome as Medeama clinched their inaugural title.

The frustration led to Fabin’s departure, and now Acheampong has been given the responsibility of guiding the club toward their cherished goal of claiming the league title for the third time.

Acheampong, a former Ghanaian national team player with extensive coaching experience, has previously managed teams like Medeama, Elmina Sharks, and Eleven Wonders, among others.
