Accra Lions ready to appoint Ibrahim Tanko as technical director

Former Ghana Black Stars assistant coach Ibrahim Tanko is set to be appointed Technical Director of Accra Lions FC.



The former Dortmund attacking midfielder will officially sign for the premier league newbies on Wednesday.

Accra lions parted ways with head coach Rainer Kraftand has since been struggling in the Ghana Premier league.

The lions are seated 15th with 19 points on the premier league table

Ibrahim Tanko was linked to the Black Stars job but the Ghana FA opted for Otto Addo and others to lead the Ghana Black Stars team against Nigeria in the World Cup Qualifiers.
