Accra lions midfielder, Emmanuel Dzigbah successfully undergoes surgery in Serbia



Accra Lions midfielder, Emmanuel Dzigbah has  successfully undergone surgery in Serbia for a repair of his meniscus.

The midfielder was sent to Belgrade by Accra lions to enable him undergo surgery. The young talented midfielder will now begin his road to recovery.

Accra Lions Chairman Oliver koenig, said: “As a club, we are responsible for providing our players with the best possible medical care.”

“In Emmanuel’s case, we were advised by our Ghanaian doctors to seek treatment abroad due to the complexity of the injury.”

“We are very pleased that the surgery went well and that we will see him back on the pitch very soon.” We wish Emmanuel a speedy recovery!”
