Accra Lions defeat Bechem at Nana Fosu Gyaebour Park to go top of GPL

Accra Lions make it five out of five wins to go top of the Betpawa Premier league.


Accra Lions ended Bechem United’s 22 unbeaten home run in the GPL.

Fredrick Asante’s first half strike was enough to ensure, Lions secured all three maximum points.

Bechem mounted pressure on Lions throughput the entire game in the hope of finding an equalizer but Lions were resilient.

Lions goal keeper , Owusu made a fantastic  finger-tip save with 15 minutes remaining to keep Lions in the game.

Accra lions  secured their second win on the road this season and their fifth consecutive win.

They are currently first on the league table with 15 points after match day 6.
