With this triumph, Kotoko now sits in 4th place on the league standings with 47 points, trailing the leaders, Medeama, by 6 points.

When asked about their chances of contending for the league title, Gazale responded positively, stating, “For sure because when you look at the table now, we are now in 4th place. Looking at the table, we have come to the 4th place, and I think if we are able to win these 9 points.”

“the three games remaining, it will be 12 points. We hope that at least one of those teams at the top will drop either one or three points, and we can still make it up.”

Kotoko’s next game will be against Karela United, which will be hosted in Kumasi.
