Senegalese International Sadio Mane has been crowned the Men’s Player of the year in the 2022 Confederation of African Football Awards (CAF Awards).
The new Bayern forward win the award two times in a row.
Nigeria’s Assisat Oshoala also broke a record after being the first player to win five African Player of the Year (women) awards in the award’s history.
Ghana Black Princesses captain Evelyn Badu won two awards in this year’s edition; Young Player of the Year (women) and Interclub Player of the Year (women).
