19 players have reported to the Black Stars camp ahead of Mexico, USA friendlies.
The Ghanaian national team, the Black Stars, commenced their preparations for the upcoming international friendly matches with a training session held at the Charlotte FC training ground.
They are set to face Mexico on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Subsequently, they will take on the United States of America on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee.

These friendlies serve as crucial elements in the Black Stars’ readiness for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
Guided by head coach Chris Hughton and his technical staff, the team’s first training session involved 19 players who gathered at the Charlotte FC training facility on Tuesday evening.
This initial training session laid the groundwork for their preparations leading up to the match against Mexico.
The players, including notable names like Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey, and Inaki Williams, participated in an intensive one-hour training session in Charlotte as they geared up for their forthcoming encounter on October 14, 2023. Jerome Opoku is slated to join the team’s camp on Wednesday.
